Electrical Manager (Contract Based)
Job Responsibilities
· Provide expert advice and assistance to technical, construction, maintenance engineers and operation personnel on all matters related to electrical systems.
· Provide technical support to operation and maintenance unit to troubleshoot electrical equipment failure and performance including reporting and documentation.
· Analyze system performance and find solution for energy saving included with make recommendation for technical/economic optimization of existing and future facilities.
· Analyze equipment performance, operative conditions and boundaries, during lifecycle of the electrical equipment in order to guarantee and safe operations in the Monomer and Polymer plant including Gas Turbine and utility facilities.
· Develop engineering conceptual plans for the new installation and upgrade projects including development of work scopes, calculations and detailed technical specifications.
· Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
· Manage relationships with contractors and service providers and also regulary interracts with other professionals in various company organizations involved in capital planning and economic analysis.
· Carry out the daily inspection works and keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
· Provide technical solution, maintenance strategies, and rectify root cause analysis in order to prevent reoccurrences.
· Manage and monitor stock/inventory of equipment and spare parts for daily/periodical maintenance.
· Prepare T/A (Turn Around) to run optimally: plan schedules, secure budget, stock up spare parts, contract partners, and oversee maintenance work and so on.
· Plan, oversee and ensure quality, cost effective and time solution to any repair and installation activities.
· Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
· Allocate workload, supervise and motivate staff.
· Ensure health and safety policies compliance.
· Review workers performance and identify any training needs.
· Assist in the training, development and mentoring of maintenance staff.
· Develop maintenance procedures, evaluate maintenance activity and implement continuous improvement plans collaborative and effectively with other department to improve process and technology.
Job Requirements
· Education: Min. D4 / Bachelor Degree (Electrical Engineering or equivalent) required from reputable University.
· At least 15 - 25 years operation experience as management role in Oil & Gas, Power Plant, Petrochemical & Chemical Industries.
· 5+ years of experience as an electrical project manager/leader.
· Proven experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects.
· Proficiency in electrical project management and project design software and tools.
· Experience in planning maintenance operations.
· Having experience using SAP CMMS.
· Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical systems.
· Working knowledge of electric facilities.
· Ability to manage time, drive productivity and meet deadlines.
· Ability to manage and prioritise tasks.
· Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
· Background for environment of Petrochemical plant.
· Strong organization and and management skills.
· Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken (Bahasa and English).
· Interpersonal skills – and be willing to work on one’s own initiatives and as part of wider site team.
· Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
· Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
· Familiar with ISO manager standard.
· Understanding Indonesian electricity regulation.
· Willing to be located in Merak Plant (Cilegon).
· Have experience about the Project.
