Electrical Sr. Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on motors, electrical panels, HV & LV systems, and control equipment.
• Conduct load analysis on circuits and verify proper operation of protection devices.
• Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments.
• Set up electrical panels, switchboards, distribution boards, and protective devices.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) before performing maintenance on energized equipment.
• Perform job hazard assessments (JHA) before beginning work.
• Ensure installations comply with local, national, and facility electrical codes and regulations.
• Maintain safe working conditions by identifying and correcting hazards.
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE regulation
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and service reports accurately and on time.
• Communicate equipment condition, repair needs, and progress to supervisors or engineers.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Associate Degree (Diploma-3) of Electrical Engineering from reputable university with min. 3 years of experience background in Petrochemical/ Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant industry
• High School graduate or equivalent with > 6 years’ experience background in Petrochemical/ Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant industry can be considered
• Having experience in the Maintenance role: Transformer, Switchgear, MCC, MV/LV Motor, Generator, GIS, UPS & Battery.
• Preferable experience with SAP CMMS
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Fluent in English
• Willing to work in Cilegon.
