Job Responsibilities:
- Operate storage tank systems safely and efficiently
- Monitor tank levels, temperatures, and pressures through DCS/local instruments; perform product transfer between tanks, loading/unloading to vessels, trucks, or pipelines.
- Maintain product quality and quantity during operations (Conduct tank sampling, density/temperature measurements, and ensure accurate product accounting)
- Ensure all operations follow safety procedures (PTW, LOTO, confined space, hot work), check vapor recovery systems, and prevent spills or overfilling as per HSE regulation.
- Perform routine inspection and reporting (Inspect tanks, pumps, valves, gauges, and pipelines daily; report abnormalities and support maintenance activities)
- Support maintenance shutdown or tank cleaning, Coordinate tank isolation, purging, and nitrogen blanketing.
- Assist in calibration and measurement verification Support metering and tank calibration checks with third-party inspectors.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement (Attend operational safety meetings, drills, and skill enhancement programs)
Job Requirements :
- Min. Diploma 3 from all major (preferred Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical) from reputable university
- Have at least 4 years of experiences in storage tank or petrochemical / oil and gas industry
- Candidate who graduates from vocational high school with min. 4 years of relevant experience is eligible to apply
- Have knowledge and understanding in tank farm operation and product handling
- Knowledge of transfer systems, pump, exchanger, characteristic of tank, knowing RTO (Regenrative Therman Oxidizer) and compressor will be advantage, line-up, and tank management
- Good understanding in PTW, LOTO, HAZOP, spill prevention, and firefighting
- Knowledge of API 650/653, ASTM D1250, tank gauging, and reporting
- Fluent in English (both writing and speaking)
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Willing be placed in Merak (Cilegon)
