JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Install, test, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, level transmitters, and control valves.
- Perform calibration of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level, etc.).
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instruments according to schedules.
- Instruct and lead fresh technician in training.
- Supervise subcontructor work related maintenance work.
- Follow manager/leader instructions
- Comply with HSE regulation, all internal policies, procedures, and compliance standards(such as: ISO, Halal, K3, LOTO, PPE, permit to work, and etc.)
- Participate in safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture.
- Prepare detailed service reports, incident investigations, and reliability improvement recommendations.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, calibration certificates, and test results.
- Report issues to supervisors
Job Requirements
- Min. D3 or Associate Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Good understanding of instrumentation fundamentals, control systems, and process measurement principles.
- Familiarity with common instruments such as transmitters, analyzers, sensors, and control devices.
- Ability to use calibration and testing equipment effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with DCS/PLC interfaces.
- Certification in instrumentation calibration and maintenance (Preferred).
- Experience with specific brands of instruments (e.g., Emerson, Honeywell, Siemens).
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards such as ISO, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Experience in maintenance of the bagging system and automated warehouse is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Have experience for shift-based working and willing to work shifts
- Willing to be located in Merak Plant (Cilegon)
