Jr. OS Engineer (Fresh Graduate)

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor tank farm and offsite facilities : Conduct routine inspections, monitor tank levels, check instrumentation status, verify product transfer operations via pipeline, vessel and truck.
• Support operations during product receipt and dispatch :Assist in line-up preparation, ensure correct valve configuration, support loading/unloading procedures.
• Assist maintenance coordination : Report equipment abnormalities, support scheduling of preventive maintenance, follow up on work orders.
• Health, Safety, Environment & Compliance : Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment policy and procedure.
• Support documentation and reporting : Prepare daily operation logs, maintain tank inventory records, update operational checklists.
• ERP/SAP : Execute transaction as per assignment
• Complies with all relevant safety standard, procedures, and company policies, and participates in all required safety training and ensure the OS Section production process runs safely and smoothly
• Conducts plant troubleshooting and manage day to day OS production activities ( Operate BOG Compressor , Refrigerant , RTO , Heater, Truck Loading / Unloading, Tank, Pump, and utilities system like Nitrogen, instrument air, plant air, and steam ).
• Supports work Improvements activities for process; identifies opportunities for optimization of process and procedure; plan and implementation.
• Reviewing Process document (Mass balance, P&ID, PFD, Cause & Effect diagram, Alarm & set point list, Drawing, ETC).
• Initiate and conduct normal operation of raw material and Product receipt from vessels at Jetty to designated tanks, and product loading to vessels at Jetty following SOP; initiates corrective actions in case of any deviations.
• Plant Safety Coordinator (capable to conduct HAZOP, and Safe Work Permit)Coordinate with vendor/third party to conduct plant improvement.
• Handled Product :  Naphtha, Ethylene, Propylene, C4s, BTX and etc. and various tank type: External floating roof tank, Double wall tank, spherical tank, ATM Tank, Cone roof tank.
• Carries out other tasks assigned by Manager / Sr. Engineer as part of the role’s general responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• Min. S1 (Chemical Engineering or equivalent) from reputable university
• Fresh graduate or candidate with max. 2 years’ operation experience as a process engineer related to Petrochemicals industries are welcome to apply.
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc), maintenance various email and internet programs and applications, and other software and databases generally seen in a plant environment.
• Have good understanding for process program (i.e. Hysys, UNISIM, HTRI, etc) is preferable
• Have good reading P&ID, PFD, Technical drawing, Assembly drawing, etc.
• Fluent in English (both written & spoken).
• Good integrity, initiatives, and team work ability.
• Have motivation to learn and willing to work under pressure.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Will be placed in Cilegon.
