Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and control the utilization of heavy equipment to support maintenance, turnaround, and project activities in the plant.
- Conduct site visits to monitor equipment operation and support field teams.
- Support site and maintenance activities by operate heavy equipment such as forklift, boomlift, overhead crane, and truck mounted crane.
- Provide load charts, lifting plans, and capacity checks.
- Manage and monitor availability, readiness, and operational condition of heavy equipment.
- Create daily & weekly mobilization plans (crane, forklift, manlift, excavator, etc.).
- Track daily utilization of heavy equipment.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities for standby heavy equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in safe and operable condition prior to use.
- Prepare reports related to equipment utilization, performance, and operational support activities.
- Create, monitor, and update heavy equipment work orders, service notifications, and maintenance records in SAP CMMS.
- Coordinate with contractors and rental vendors regarding equipment availability, performance, compliance, and service support.
- Review heavy equipment rental usage records and verify contractor invoices prior to approval and payment processing.
- Promote and implement HSE Regulation such as SMK3 (OHS Management System) and SML (Environmental Management System) in daily work practice.
- Ensure heavy equipment operations comply with HSE standards, permit-to-work systems, and company safety procedures.
- Coordinate heavy equipment resources required for turnaround activities, shutdowns, and major maintenance work.
- Participate in evaluation of heavy equipment contractors and vendors based on performance and compliance.
- Propose improvement initiatives to increase equipment utilization efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Tasks assigned by the superior, either directly or indirectly, as required by organizational needs.
Job Requirements.
- Min. Associate Degree (Diploma-3) of Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or any Engineering Major from reputable university with min. 3 years of Heavy Equipment Operation experience background in EPC/MRO Services/Manufacturing Company
- High School graduate or equivalent with > 5 years of relevant experience background in EPC/MRO Services/Manufacturing
- Preferable experience with SAP CMMS
- Good knowledge inj heavy equipment and able to operate heavy equipment
- Has a valid Forklift Operator Certification is mandatory.
- Having valid certifications as a Rigger/Lifting Operator, Truck Mounted Crane Operator, Boom Lift Operator, or Overhead Crane Operator is an advantage.
- Fluent in English
- Willing to work in Cilegon.
