Monomer QM Daily Technician (Fresh Graduate)

Job Description:

• Conduct routine and non-routine Gas/LPG sampling and analysis in the Monomer Plant based on Sampling Plan.
• Conduct instrument checklist and preventive maintenance based on schedule.
• Prepare solutions, chemical reagents and standard calibration as required.
• Conduct calibration of laboratory equipment based on schedule.                                                       
• Monitor stock levels of chemicals, consumables, and spare parts regularly.                                                        
• Conduct non-routine sampling and analysis to support plant operations.                                                                                                                  
• Carry out and implement occupational safety, health, housekeeping and security activities for creating safe and secure workplace according to the Safety and Health, Environment and Quality Management Systems and Regulation.
• Record and report analysis results in the Log Sheet and submit to LIMS system.
• Report abnormal instrument conditions or analysis results to Supervisor/Engineer.

Job Requirements:

• • Freshgraduate with min. D3, majoring in Chemical Analysis or relevant major from reputable university
  • Experience 1 - 2 years in a petrochemical laboratory is preferred
  • Possess knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and environmental compliance in a chemical processing environment.
  • Possess knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements to ensure compliance with quality management systems and continuous improvement.
  • Have strong knowledge of coventional analytical methods, including gravimetric and volumetric analysis. 
  • Familiar operate Laboratory equipment such as GC, IC, HPLC, ICP, AAS, Hg Analyzer, TS, TN ,TCl analyzer, etc.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willing to be placed in Cilegon.
