NC HOT Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting for major operational issues in Furnace system, Quench system, Fuel system, etc.
• Analyze process trends, identify root causes, and propose engineering solutions.
• Drive optimization of unit operation to improve efficiency, energy consumption, and production performance.
• Validate and approve process adjustments recommended by engineers or operators.
• Prepare Purchase Request for chemcial & material as needed to support product
• Collect, validate, and analyze operational data for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Prepare technical reports such as downtime analysis, incident summaries, equipment performance reports, and process deviation finding
• Coordinate daily with production, maintenance, laboratory, and safety departments to support plant operation.
• Work with maintenance teams to review equipment performance and identify reliability issues.
• Ensure production activities comply with company HSE policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in HAZOP, JSA, and safety reviews when required.

Job Requirements

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from reputable university
• Have at least 5 years of experiences in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry
• Have knowledge and understanding in NC Plant fundamental process and technologies
• Good understanding in Chemical Engineering Software such as Hysys, Chemcad, etc
• Understand HAZOP, PTW, and environment standard
• Fluent in English (both writing and speaking)
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Willing to be placed in Merak (Cilegon)
