NC HOT Field Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Operate field equipment such as Furnaces, pumps, heat exchangers, valves etc. according to standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, level) through local instrument and report any deviation or abnormal to the board operator.
• Perform coke cleaning after furnaces decoking process
• Perform taking routine sampling & non-routine sampling as instructed
• Collect Field data and ensure accurate logging of operation parameters
• Monitor level/inventory and injection rate of chemicals and consumables
• Conduct basic equipment checks (leak, noise, vibration,etc) and report abnormalities.
• Coordinate with the board operator and other department (maintenance, laboratory, other production) to ensure smooth operation.

Job Requirements

• Min. Diploma 3 degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from reputable university
• Have at least 2 years of experiences in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry (Candidates graduated from vocational high school with min. 4 years of experience are welcome to apply)
• Have knowledge and understanding in NC Plant fundamental process and technologies
• Good capability in using Microsoft Office or having good understanding in computer literacy
• Understanding permit (SOP, Working Permit, LOTO)
• Fluent in English (both writing and speaking)
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Willing to be placed in Merak (Cilegon)
