PP Field Operator 1

Job Responsibilites

• Operate field equipment (pumps, valves, compressors, extruders, etc.) according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow, level) through local instruments and report any deviations to the control room operator.
• Collect field data and ensure accurate logging of operational parameters.
• Follow full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and statutory regulations.
• Conduct basic equipment checks (leak, noise, vibration, etc.) and report abnormalities.
• Support maintenance activities by isolating equipment, applying lock-out/tag-out procedures, and ensuring area readiness for maintenance work.
• Assist in verifying equipment readiness after maintenance completion.

Job Requirements

• Min. D3 in Chemical Engineering/Chemical/relevant major with min. 2 years experience background in Petrochemical/ Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant industry
• High School graduate or equivalent with > 4 years experience background in Petrochemical/ Chemical plant/ Oil & Gas Plant/ Power Plant industry can be considered
• Understanding chemical or petrochemical production process
• Preferable for excellent communication (Bahasa and English) and interpersonal skills
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Willing to be located in Merak Plant (Cilegon).
