Process Safety Management Engineer I

Job Description:

• Perform the Implementation of PSM practices at the plant site accordance with OSHA / CCPS as general reference.
• Check PSM activities operate in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine monitoring and follow-up on PSM execution in all units.
• Develop, review, and update PSM systems, guidelines, and procedures for all PSM elements.
• Establish process safety accident criteria and ensure consistent implementation.
• Identify process safety risks and define appropriate mitigation measures.
• Facilitate and conduct risk assessments and consequence modelling.
• Validate recommendations and ensure alignment with plant safety priorities.
• Identify key process safety risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support evaluation of plant modifications from a process safety perspective.
• Perform audits on PSM systems and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Monitor compliance with internal standards and safety requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of process safety performance.
• Perform PSM training programs for personnel.
• Prepare and update PSM-related documentation, reporting, and performance records.
• Conduct updated data related to risk assessment, PSM procedures, and plant safety evaluations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant major
• Have min. 5 years of working experience in Petrochemical/chemical plant, power plant, or refinary.
• Preferrably have certification in PSM Training, Process Hazard Analysis, HAZOP Leader, QRA & FERA, SIL Verification, and accident investigation
• Have good English communication skill both writing and speaking.
• Good interpersonal skills.
