JOB DESCRIPTION : 

1. Maintenance Planning & Execution
•    Develop and update preventive maintenance schedules for rotating equipment.
•    Prepare job plans, procedures, and spare parts lists for maintenance activities.
•    Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to execute planned work.
2. Troubleshooting & Repair
•    Diagnose and analyze mechanical failures on pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines, agitators, and gearboxes.
•    Recommend corrective actions and supervise field repair activities.
•    Engage with OEMs and vendors for specialized technical support.
3. Condition Monitoring
•    Monitor equipment health through vibration analysis, oil analysis, temperature monitoring, and performance checks.
•    Interpret condition monitoring data and recommend actions to prevent failures.
•    Support reliability improvement programs such as RCM or FMEA.
4. Turnaround & Operation Support
•    Prepare scope and work packages for rotating equipment during plant shutdowns or turnarounds.
•    Supervise contractors and ensure QA/QC compliance during overhauls.
•    Participate in commissioning of new or modified rotating equipment.
5. Documentation & Reporting
•    Maintain up-to-date equipment history and maintenance records in CMMS (e.g., SAP).
•    Prepare technical reports, failure analyses, and improvement recommendations.
•    Update and review maintenance procedures and technical drawings.
6. Compliance & Safety
•    Ensure all work is executed in accordance with Lotte Chemical’s safety standards and Indonesian regulations.
•    Apply Permit to Work, Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO), confined space, and hot work procedures.
•    Promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance team.

 

Job Requirements

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or related field from reputable university.
  • Minimum 4–7 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance in petrochemical, oil & gas, or refinery industries.
  • Hands-on experience with API pumps, compressors, fans, turbines (steam/gas), and gearboxes.
  • Strong understanding of rotating equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with vibration analysis, laser alignment, balancing, and mechanical seals.
  • Knowledge of relevant international standards (API 610, 617, 618, 686, etc.).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication (Bahasa and English) and interpersonal skills.
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
  • Willing to be located in Merak Plant (Cilegon)
